arrow9.gif (1057 bytes) Common mistakes and how to avoid them when doing data entry

1. When using pay per click search engines like Google Adwords or MSN ad network many beginners type a couple ads and pay .05 cents per click and get no visitors to their ads. So they then think to themselves I have to bid really high to get lots of visitors to my ads. They in turn create several ads and pay .30 to 1.00 per click thinking that they will get tons of visitors to their ads and they will make lots of money. The truth is that if you pay too much per click you will spend more then you will   make in profits. Don't fall into this trap. The key to success is to bid 0.05 to .30 cents and no higher. In fact if you are starting out I would not bid more then .25 cents. A good bid for your keywords in general is from .10 cents to .20 cents. Don't go higher then that in the beginning. The trick is to create lots of ad compaigns and test to see what works. If a product you are selling gets lots of visitors but no sales, you need to pick a different product to promote, it's that simple. If you don't see a commission coming your way with 100 visitors you should definitely try another product to promote.

2. Here is a big mistake some people make. They create ads and don't type in their hoplinks or affiliate urls correctly. Here is what your hoplink should look like. http://gray26.fcas1.hop.clickbank.net/ It will always start with http:// and end with .net. The best thing to do is to always test your affiliate link before inserting it into ads. If the page comes up after clicking on your link then your link is ok.

3. Some people place a lot of free ads and get no visitors to their ads and then give up. This is a common mistake, you should not only place free ads, you can make money placing free ads if you do it right. But placing low cost paid ads is often more productive. Each day that you do this job you will get better at it. So don't give up if you have placed some ads and seen no results. The key is to keep at it until you find something that works for you.

4. Some people think that the only way to make money on the internet is with those expensive business opportunities that require a $1000 investment or more. The plain truth is that many of those expensive opportunities will make you lose money instead of make money. Unless you are an expert internet marketer, and even many experts have trouble make profits with those opportunities. What you should do is find the most cost-effective ways of selling inexpensive products: example: $10 to $100. Don't sell products that cost more then $100. They don't sell as well. You can make a fortune placing ads for other people's products, you will make commissions on every sale. This is the most popular data entry job on the internet. Because it works.

5. Only buy advertising from reputable sources. Don't spend $300 or more on things like "Guaranteed Traffic Packages" For example the website will say, get 10 000 visitors to your website guaranteed for only $300. Guaranteed Traffic packages are terrible. They just don't deliver results. We have tried several of them, we were always disappointed. Don't buy these packages. You are much better to use sites like Google Adwords and Msn ad network. Very important!

6. Don't waste your time on products or websites that only deliver tiny profits. If you try something for a good period of time and you find it is only giving you tiny profits, you should move on to something else, sell something more expensive and something that sells easier.

These are the main mistakes people make. If you follow directions above you will be on your way to working from home successfully.
